The initiative, which is in the vein of activities geared toward capital market development, aims to investigate the factors that incentivize SMEs to embark on paths of competitive growth, innovation and financial development through bond and/or equity issues and to analyze the contextual (regulatory, technological and social) and structural (governance and business models) elements that support and/or hinder SMEs' use of capital.
Through the Observatory's activities, it is intended, on the one hand, to promote financial, sustainability and digital culture in SMEs, and, on the other hand, to offer concrete support to policy makers in understanding the ongoing evolutions in the Italian industrial economy.
The study day will open with institutional greetings by Elena Beccalli, Rector ofUniversità Cattolica del Sacro Cuore , and Luca Filippa, Director General of Consob, and will conclude with a panel discussion moderated by Andrea Signori ofUniversità Cattolica del Sacro Cuore .
