Use of artificial intelligence but also risks related to climate events. There will be teaching modules dedicated to these specific topics in the undergraduate master's degree program "Insurance Management: Innovation, Sustainability and International Scenarios," sponsored by the Research Center on Technology, Innovation and Financial Services at theCattolica Università del Sacro Cuore (Cetif) and created with the intention of responding to the transformations taking place in the insurance sector.
Now in its fifth edition and aimed at young graduates and professionals eager to develop managerial and technical skills necessary to interpret and deal with the new dynamics of the sector, the Master's degree program thanks to the contribution of ANIA (National Association among Insurance Companies) also in the current academic year provides 4 scholarships worth 9,500.00 euros.
A training course, therefore, that in the national panorama stands out precisely because it focuses on issues that are increasingly relevant to the insurance world, namely technological innovation, sustainability, internationalization, and environmental catastrophes. In addition, the well-established collaboration with ANIA opens up a multidisciplinary approach that knows how to combine theoretical insights with practical experience and real cases, in line with the challenges of a constantly evolving market.
As confirmed by Chiara Frigerio, professor of Business Organization atUniversità Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and director of the Master's program. "The training offer is characterized by a great attention to strategic and frontier issues." In addition, Professor Frigerio continues, "this year's program will in fact give greater emphasis to digital innovation andArtificial Intelligence in insurance, as well as climate change and catastrophe policies to mitigate risks related to extreme events. This will enable participants to strengthen their business skills with a strategic and technical focus, without neglecting regulatory and legal profiles, with particular attention to evolving legal and regulatory aspects."
The Faculty is composed of professors from theCattolica Università and lecturers from other national and international universities with specific experience and knowledge in the banking and insurance world behind them. It can then count on a wide network of professionals, managers and executives who have long collaborated in the research, training and experimentation projects carried out by Cetif and, therefore, are constantly updated on the main developments in the sector.
Delivered in Italian and with a duration of one year, amounting to 1,500 hours and 60 Cfu (University Educational Credits), the educational program includes alternating classroom and online training, asynchronous educational content ( slidesets and video lectures), implementation of an Innovation Project and internship activities.
