According to the latest data from the European Commission, only 42 percent of Italians possess basic digital skills, and 55 percent of companies report difficulty in finding suitable ICT specialists. Together with partners such as BCC Iccrea Group and Gasbarri Foundation, Cetif will provide five scholarships for the eighth edition of the master's program in financial innovation atUniversità Cattolica . The project is part of the many up-skilling and re-skilling training initiatives designed in recent years by the Center specifically to bridge the digital skills gap in the banking and insurance sectors.
The master's program offers a highly professionalizing educational experience, covering the most innovative and rapidly evolving topics such as artificial intelligence and generative AI, blockchain and Web3, cybersecurity and metaverse. Students will have the opportunity to gain theoretical and practical knowledge, thanks to a faculty composed of academics and top managers in the industry.
Also an integral part of the master's program is an internship at leading companies in the industry with placement rates of 95 percent. Going into more detail: three full-coverage scholarships will be financed by the BCC Iccrea Group through BCC Banca Iccrea, BCC Sinergia and BCC Risparmio & Previdenza, and intended for students who have demonstrated excellence in innovation projects linked to the local area. The other two with partial coverage will be funded by Alleanza Assicurazioni's Gasbarri Foundation, for students who are committed to acquiring knowledge in the insurance industry.
