The climate change course provides an in-depth overview of the global impacts of climate change and strategies for managing risks in business. During the first day, participants will explore climate change risks, state and international climate initiatives, Net Zero strategies, European action on sustainable finance, and the impact of the green transition on business. Sustainable finance and climate factors will also be discussed, as well as climate risk assessment methods. The second day will be devoted to climate risk management in banking and insurance, with a focus on regulatory and supervisory aspects. The inclusion of climate factors in financial management, climate risk governance and management, sustainable investments, green bonds, and green financing will be examined. In addition, the course will cover the communication of climate and environmental factors, also addressing issues of greenwashing and greenblushing.
