The course aims to explore the new accounting standard IFRS 17 on insurance contracts, which has revolutionized the financial statements of insurance companies prepared in accordance with international accounting standards. The connections with IFRS 9 on financial instruments and the close relationship with the Solvency II technical provisions measurement criteria will be explained. Specific focus will also be devoted to the structure of the new income statement according to regulation IVASS and the new KPI.
