On January 17, 2023, the EU DORA Regulation came into force, defining rules, guiding principles, and behaviors that financial institutions must comply with in order to ensure digital operational resilience and information security, including with regard to third parties (TPPs) and supply chains. Banks and insurance companies are required to equip themselves with robust governance mechanisms and adequate expertise and knowledge to respond to the challenges posed by the new legislation, especially in a context of high technological adoption.
