Structure

The Executive International Trade & Export Management Course, implemented with Intesa Sanpaolo, is conducted in full digital mode through the E-Learning platform Blackboard. Within a dedicated learning environment, participants have the opportunity to take part in anengaging and interactive learning experience.

The course is structured with a 5-week intensive blended program.
Each week involves a commitment of about 5.30 hours divided into:

  • Synchronous virtual classrooms (3 hours, usually on Mondays)
  • Asynchronous video lectures (minimum 30 minutes)
  • Synchronous business game (2 hours, usually on Wednesdays).

The business game is structured in the form of a managerial simulation based on real cases; the activity makes it possible to reproduce the dynamics and logic of an evolving company: the participants, divided into groups, are asked to define the development strategy in foreign markets by applying the skills of strategic analysis, decision making, problem solving and creativity.

A final test of learning will be given at the end of the course.

The International Trade & Export Management course is aimed at Managers and Senior Resources belonging to the areas of Administrative, Commercial & Marketing, Logistics & Operations, Compliance & Legal.

Formative Objectives.
  • Encourage the development oftechnical and financial skills of resources in the company who hold decision-making roles in international growth processes, delving into:
    - the essential contractual elements in international buying and selling and the use of settlement and guarantee instruments
    - customs regulations, transportation and shipment of goods
    - the solutions for managing the main risks and financial needs in foreign trade
    - the ways of commercial penetration of international marketsand related financial needs
  • Fostering the development of the culture of Transaction Banking tools to support international business
The format
  • During the virtual classrooms there will be the presentation of Case Studies and Company Testimonials; participants can discuss and explore some relevant topics with Managers and Entrepreneurs who with their experience contribute to enrich the teaching with innovative and pragmatic elements and help in the contextualization of the topics covered;
  • At the conclusion of the course, participants have the opportunity to take advantage of a one-on-one assessment to check their company's digitization status and book in-depth interviews with faculty from Cetif, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and Intesa Sanpaolo;
  • The course is also enriched by additional optional course materials that are made available to participants in the form of Slide sets, videos or other reference materials;
  • Upon passing the final test, it is possible to obtain the Certification of Learning issued by Cetif- Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore ;
  • Participation in the course satisfies the minimum training requirements for the purpose of registering for the certification exam for International Trade Finance Specialist. Thanks to the agreement stipulated between Intesa Sanpaolo Formazione and TÜV NORD Italia, it will be possible to register for the exam, after passing the minimum requirements, taking advantage of favorable economic conditions.
