Implementing Solvency II

27.11.2013 01:00 22.11.2024 10:01
Critical and open points of the Preparatory Guidelines

Presentation of the workshop

In this highly complex scenario, CeTIF aims to accompany insurance companies in developing change strategies that are appropriate both to the standards required by regulations and to the business of the companies themselves. In particular, consistent with Eiopa's "Guidelines on Preparing for Solvency II," of great relevance are the issues related to the system of Internal Controls and Governance, which assume a fundamental role in ensuring the sound and prudent management of the company, risk assessment and management, and the new requirements dictated by the regulator in the area of reporting, which presuppose significant changes both from an organizational and technological point of view.

The event aims to analyze the guidelines sanctioned by Eiopa on preparation for Solvency II through the support of IVASS to evaluate plans and ways to implement the new guidelines in Italy.

Representatives from large insurance groups(Generali Group, Unipol Group, Reale Mutua Group, andHelvetia Group) will also be present and will bring their experience regarding the progress on the Solvency II project.
