The orientation towards the protection of customers and other stakeholders, which has also been reinforced at the EU level, has been pushing financial system players for some years to revise the system of internal controls with a view to risk assessment and transparency. The main evolutions taking place, from the organizational point of view, have forced the creation of new professional competencies, new functions and control committees, while, from the methodological point of view, they have changed the way second- and third-level control functions are evaluated and intervene. The workshop aims to discuss this organizational and methodological evolution with banks and insurance companies in order to highlight the open points and assess its effects on the effectiveness of the work of the Auditing and Compliance functions.
