While dematerialization, mobility, and business planning systems are innovations aimed at simplifying and making processes more efficient for agents, other ongoing changes seem to be charting the way to substantially change the agent's service model. Remaining challenges include its internal organization, which is often anchored in a traditional approach; the composition of the portfolio, which is still very unbalanced on motor products; and the need for greater transparency and competition among intermediaries tracked by IDD.
The workshop aims to take stock of the changes taking place for digital agents, dwelling on the future choices that the market and institutions will constrain, addressing strategic aspects and operational choices with input from agent representatives, companies and institutions that regulate the market.
