Several changes are affecting the insurance industry: first, the digital disruption that has radically transformed customer expectations, plus the technological evolution that sees increasing use of IoT devices and analytics useful in preventing fraud and settling claims accurately.
As a result, Companies will find themselves dealing with ever-decreasing volumes of claims in most lines of business, with a concomitant increase in volatility, both in their magnitude and in their variability across lines of business.
