Solvency II and New IFRS

22.03.2017 11:00 - 13:30
evolving lines of accounting and governance for Insurance Companies.

Presentation of the workshop

Insurance companies will face new challenges in terms of requirements for granularity of impairment models and "consistency" in the definition of default between Solvency II and IFRS 9, resulting in coordination between Finance, Risk Management and business functions. In this context, what are the expected impacts, in terms of accounting, governance and process? How are the Companies preparing? The workshop therefore aims to take stock of the situation with respect to the strategic and implementation issues still open on Solvency II, while also reflecting on the changes in terms of data structure, reporting, IT infrastructure, governance and coordination dictated by IFRS (in particular IFRS 9 and IFRS 4 phase2).

Target Audience: The meeting is aimed at Risk Management and Actuarial, Audit and Compliance, Strategic Planning and Management Control, Information Systems and Organization, and Insurance Technical functions.
