Data play an increasingly crucial role in the 'evolution of the operating model, which also tends to make increasing use of AI in assessment and prediction activities that can result in autonomous decisions by machines. If the operating model is the engine of the business, data is the fuel that enables it to function: just as poor quality (or insufficient) fuel can damage an engine, insufficient or unreliable data can harm the business and reputation of the Company and, in addition, lead AI to learn poorly with all that that entails.
